I believe I need to calibrate the vehicle but I’m not sure if my Autel will do it but I have all the options you went through on your end the only thing that didn’t work is the security code

In my case I had a water pump leaking, not a housing. Some people buying housing and changing housing too when they have only problem with the pump which is unnecessary.

@DIYDime It's not unnecessary. If the o ring on your water pump has gone flat then the 3 o rings on the housing will soon go flat as well. Doesn't make much sense to wait till later to change the housing o rings and have to repeat the process. I fully understand that at the time that it's only the water pump leaking but it would only take the removal of I think 7 13mm bolts to prevent a leak in the near future. What you're showing these guys is an incomplete job.

As you see on the video, the airbag itself have three connectors, which is branches to only one connector that go to the steering wheel. Besides that the steering wheel itself have lots of connectors.

Thank you. This is welded clevis brake chamber, but some semis and trailers have different brake chambers people are cutting a stroke to make a shorter so it can fit for their vehicle. Unfortunately I don’t have a video how to adjust a brake shoe yet.

If you charging your main battery which is located in the trunk you do not need to disconnect your auxiliary battery.

I didn’t buy camera. I bought used overhead console of a eBay and pulled camera from there.

Same as the other modules but you need to have correct file software (version).

What charger are you using? You need to set at list 14.2 volts on your power supply in order to deactivate safety switch. Check your battery terminals with volt meter and make sure it’s showing 0Volts, because if it’s not and your battery showing voltage then you might have other problem. Go to your I drive manual in the car and search for software upgrade or something like that and it should tell you exactly what procedures need to take in order to finish update

@@DIYDime I’m using the same charger as yours and I had it set the same as you do. 14.7v and 2Amp. I have the X7 as well.

When you test the battery with a Voltmeter what does it show? 0V or 12-13.2v?

@@DIYDime it is showing 0v with the output button being off. Then it will show 15v with the output button being ON. But, safety switch isn’t disengaging so Battery isn’t taking the charge.

@@DIYDime how much charge did you put in you L ion battery? I know you said 13.2 V should be the minimum, did you go above 14v to get the software to update?

I did not change the sprockets! only the chains and tensioners! yeah, it’s a good quality also

@@MartinManchev-bv3wt inspect them if they are bad change them also but otherwise you should be fine. I didn’t do it on my a8 and a6. Only chains and tensioners.

You need to disconnect both of your batteries before you proceed take the overhead console. No lights the only thing you will need to initialize your sunroofs. I have a video on my channel how to do that.

Is there enough room to work on upper arm bolts by just removing the wheel well cover, or is the air shock needs to be loosened as well?

@@dumitrumalcoci7873 I had no problem removing bolts but a lot of people saying that’s hard to get it out. If it is, then just unscrew 3 nuts on the top and that will help to get the bolts out.

It will work even when the needle is not working AS LONG AS YOUR AIR SYSTEM works, but this is not correct and I do not recommend driving like that because when your air system goes bad you might not know that, also it will lead to DOT out of service I believe!!!

I did it to stop the oil leak, so I can dry out area and put the seal. Plus, you can check the wheel bearing on the wheel.

Maybe I missed, what mileage should you do that?

@@andreysinicin9419 if I’m not mistaken, BMW says it’s lifetime, but I know some people do between 25K-50K. If you planing on keeping it a vehicle for a long time I would suggest doing it soon, as we know to the forums, peoples feedback there are many problems with a front differential black oil issue at the low mileage and also below level liquids. When you service liquids, make sure your vehicle is on level surfaces.

You need to look on eBay cheap working condition overhead console and pull the camera from there. That’s how I did it.

I don’t know brother, can’t tell you 100%. I did buy used console for X7 same as my vehicle.
